Boder Mansion Bed and Breakfast
corner of Park and State Streets

B and B

Purchased from Fred J. Close in 1895 and completely rebuilt by Henry Boder, Jr., a Troy banker, this chateauesque mansion sits at the corner of State and Park Streets in the N. N. Jones Addition. The rounded tower with its conical roof is embellished witih terra cotta trim. Terra cotta window headers and ornate keystones help to make this home unique in the city.

The mansion is currently being renovated by owners Diane and Jim Faunce, who have plans to run it as a Bed and Breakfast.

This home and six others were featured in Troy's Sesquicentennial Celebration held in 2006.
